Public Pre-K Funding

Act 166 now mandates funding for 10 hours per week of universal pre-K for all preschool-aged children in Vermont in a prequalified program for 35 weeks in a school year.

Regardless of parental income or circumstance, children 3 years old on or before 9/1/20 are eligible to receive high-quality early learning experiences. For the 2020-21 school year, the Act 166 funding is equal to $3,445.00 per child.

SRMS is a prequalified program. Pre-K funding is paid directly to the school and is applied towards your tuition. To receive these funds, each family needs to submit a Public Pre-K registration form to their school district.

Financial Aid

Saxtons River Montessori School (SRMS) recognizes that an offer of financial assistance may be an important factor in your decision to enroll your child at SRMS. The school offers partial scholarships based on financial need and the amount of money available in our budget. If you wish to apply for scholarship aid, we ask that you first check to see if your family is eligible for Bright Futures tuition assistance before completing and submitting a scholarship application.

Please contact us for a printed Scholarship Application form.

Decisions on scholarships are generally made after your child has been accepted. All information is strictly confidential.
